Welcome to the home of the Eagles GAA!
Fáilte! Welcome to the website of the Eagles GAA, the sporting branch of the Boston College Irish Society, An Cumann na hÉireann i gColáiste Bhostúin. We facilitate the management and operation of BC's co-ed Gaelic Football and Hurling teams.
No experience is necessary for either team, one can be on both teams simultaneously and everyone is welcome. Come out and join us! We are always looking for new members. Practices will usually be on Saturdays, but when there are football games, they will be on Sundays. We generally meet at City Convenience by the T at 12PM and walk over to Brighton campus and play there, but this time is subject to change. Be sure to check our facebook group or contact us to check our practice schedules! We have the equipment, all you need to do is show up and we will teach you how to play both sports. To join either team, please join the facebook group entitled 'The Eagles GAA' or email [email protected] Interested in trying Gaelic football or Hurling?
Interested in playing with us? Come join us at practice, get in touch with a member (contact information can be found on the "Contact Us" page) or fill out the Prospective Members form on this website. No experience is necessary, and new members are welcome at all times. Hope to see you on the field!

Na hIolair Take On Relay
February 15-16, 2013
On Friday, February 15, the Eagles GAA joined the Boston College Irish Society in partaking in Boston College's Relay for Life. The event, run by the Boston College Relay for Life Club and the American Cancer Society, helps to raise money for cancer research and for cancer patients, all while celebrating cancer survivors and remembering those who lost their lives to the disease. The Boston College community raised over $130,000 dollars through 115 teams, including the one and only Team Ireland, keeping with the Olympic theme of the night. Thanks to all of those that attended! |
